Print logos
If you are using this logo for print applications, use the .eps files. These files are vector artwork created in Adobe Illustrator and saved for PC as .eps files, meaning that they can be scaled to any size without loss of quality (no fuzziness or pixelation).
Depending on how the final piece is to be printed, you will need to choose the four-color (full color), the two-color (PANTONE 200 + Black) or the one-color (all black / gray) version of the logo. It may be necessary to call your print vendor or University Communications to determine which color version you should use for your particular publication.
Web logos
If you are using the logo for web, PowerPoint, or Microsoft office, then you should choose one of the web format options (again, with or without the tag line). The GIF versions will print with a transparent background whereas the PNG and JPGs will have a white background.
